Mindy Long Elmer exemplifies the 5 secrets to sustainable success, and has a story to tell about creating her OWN success!

Mindy has an impressive background with 20 years in the IT and healthcare industries.  In addition to her unique combination of capabilities in sales, marketing, event planning AND leadership, she enjoys nurturing relationships that she has build over the years.

Although not part of her professional “profile”, she has a natural facility for hospitality whether it’s a first time acquaintance or for business and personal entertaining.  It’s one of her personal attributes that stands out (one of her ‘brand’ elements!) which you will see woven throughout her success as a leader and business development expert.

Mindy’s experience spans global, public companies in the healthcare, computer software, medical device, information technology and services industries.  Companies have included McKesson Corporation, Siemens Medical Solutions (formerly Shared Medical Systems/SMS), and Eclipsys-The Outcomes Company.

She recently transitioned to a privately held company, maxIT Healthcare, in the hospital and healthcare industry.

She has broad-based experience from her current role as a Senior Regional Vice President-Sales PA, Client Executive, Account Executive to Manager of Direct Marketing/Internet Sales Channel.

What makes Mindy so unique is her strong intuitive decision making ability, combined with her positivity, adaptability and generosity.  As a result, she can easily pick up the phone and book a luncheon meeting with busy executives because she has nurtured the relationships over years.
 
She is someone of high integrity, so people ‘know, like and trust’ her.  As a result, she’s been able to leverage the relationships that she’s developed over many years to realize sustainable success and even thrive in a challenging economy after an unexpected departure from her previous position.

It’s her intuitive decision making, strategic planning, and ability to personally connect with others (her hospitality talent!) that helped her to land her current position … a position that wasn’t available when she met with maxIT’s decision maker!

You may have heard this before, but I love telling the story about how the concept of a monthly ‘Unique Genius Virtual Café’ was born!

During a recent phone conversation with a colleague, she ended the call, “Thanks for the ‘virtual cup of coffee’!”   So I thought, wouldn’t it be great to connect as a community to  engage in dialogue about topics that will help each of you create sustainable success!

Thus, the concept was born!

You indicated that a 12 Noontime is the preferred time for our Café rather than an evening hour when you have so many other conflicting commitments.

So, I’ve scheduled our first, monthly Virtual Café on Monday, the week before Thanksgiving:
