Wishing you a healthy and prosperous New Year!

New Year Reflections from Gerrie:

How many of you have set your intentions for the new year, already?

It’s a perfect time to envision the year ahead. However, if you are just recuperating from the holiday rush, I encourage you to take time to refresh your spirit so you can ‘see’ life with a pair of fresh eyes before rushing into new year goals.

One of my colleagues, Andrea Lee, expressed my sentiments perfectly: “Start the year out well - pick your projects wisely* - and make sure you feel that wind - it's at your back.
Don't start working too hard, too quickly, and see how much you can get done without 'trying.' When you are aligned with your ‘unique genius’, you effortlessly attract greater success because you are having fun, excelling each day, and showing up authentically.

*Pick Your Project Wisely - Coaching Exercise:

As Andrea describes this approach, select goals that inspire you, feel like fun, and align with your values. When you connect with these intentions before outlining your goals, you are automatically attracted to taking action that feels almost effortless. Sounds great, doesn’t it?!

How often have you set such lofty goals that you don’t even get started? One of the most effective ways to achieve your goals is to map out an action plan in the SMART format:

  • Write your goals in Specific, Measurable terms that are Achievable and Realistic for you with a specific Timeline with small milestones toward your goals. This will increase your success and build momentum towards your goals.
